As many of you know I’ve got a little girl – she’s 2.
And….
Everyone knows about the terrible 2’s.
Somedays she wakes up fine and then others it is constant disagreement from the word go.
The other day I found myself saying:
“Come on Lottie, enough is enough”
Bloody hell – I sound like my Mum 30 odd years ago.
Anyway, I then started thinking what does that mean?
Obvious you may say.
The trouble is though how often do we say that to ourselves?
Think for a second……………..
Really think.
My interpretation is that means you’ve completely had it and cant take anymore – you are desperate.
Desperation means you will do whatever it takes (within reason of course) to get what you want.
In my case it was to stop Lottie disagreeing with everything I said and then breaking into some sort of jelly like state of crying.
If you have kids then you will know exactly what I mean – If you don’t, believe me this is one of the down sides.
The problem with this scenario was that I was trying to control a contrary 2 year old – thats very hard.
Controlling yourself can be hard but how many times have you been desperate? Desperate enough to say”
“Thats it, Enough is Enough”
If you have, then you will know that is when you take action. Not half hearted action but real, massive, unstoppable action.
The sought of action that gets results.
That could be the sought of action taken by Jenn this week who has signed up to one of our coaching programmes.
Then again it could be deciding that this weekend you are going to stay on track – Why?
Well, you are fed up to the back teeth of feeling that way on a Monday morning.
Feeling like, you’ve wasted another week. Another week of not getting closer to you goal.
That goal may be sub 10% body fat or losing the first of 3 stone – you’re the only one who knows the answer to that.
So as weekend comes – do me one massive favour:
Take Massive Action.
See you next week
