If you’re not careful, one week can quite easily merge into the next.
It seems to me that most of us come up with a plan when we have time – Usually after a holiday or Christmas, any time where we have time to think through what is important to us.
We can inspire ourselves.
We realise what’s really important to us.
Having time away from the grind clears our mind and we decide how we’re going to get what we want.
What do you want?
Your reading this, so this is what I think……….
You want to be a good triathlete.
As good as you can be with the time you have available.
You want to be healthy and fit but not just on the inside.
You want to look good too – There is no shame in that.
Triathlon maybe the vehicle to get there, which makes it a more wholesome objective.
It means you are not just training for pure vanity but something more, something to be proud of.
That’s why I love sport.
It makes us feel like we are achieving something and that makes us feel good about ourselves.
This is really important in a busy life where it can feel like all you do is give.
So, are you achieving your goals?
Are you where you want to be?
A better question would be, are you where you wanted to be when you last came up with a plan, maybe that was January or after your last holiday??
If NOT, why NOT?
You may not even know the answer to this.
One of the reasons might be that you are only accountable to yourselves, maybe you only fill in my fitness pal on the good days!
You wouldn’t be alone.
If that’s you, you definitely need to make a change.
You probably need help.
I can’t help you one to one at the moment, I am full.
