I am a 39 year old man with a wife and two daughters of 4 and 1.
We recently put our house up for sale and it’s been sold at the asking price – good news.
The bad news is that she wants it by the end of March and we can’t find another house we like.
So, were going to rent something which here in the UK is seen as a bad move.
Dead money they say!
I’ve spoke to so many people about this and all say that I should buy something, even if its over the odds on price.
10/20 grand over seems as though it’s acceptable – it’s not like real money.
The thing is I’m not in a rush and I’m prepared to make this so called backward step towards renting, because I think in the long term we will be better off.
What’s my triathlon nutrition lesson?
I’m prepared to take a chance and do something different from everyone else here in the UK.
I’m taking a small risk.
I’m going to have to be patient.
All of the above are relevant to when you make changes to your diet.
You will not know whether it is going to work until you try it – you may not trust the plan because you’ve not done it before.
Essentially you are a bit scared it won’t work and that generally means you don’t do it and then guess what?
It doesn’t work!
Because……..
You have not bloody well done it!
The difference between my house scenario and a diet plan is that the stakes are higher for me and potentially my family will be affected.
Then again if it all comes off, we will all be better off.
Luckily for me, my wife trusts me and we are in this together.
Unless I had her I wouldn’t be able to do this, her trust in me gives me strength.
It makes me belief in myself.
My point:
If what you’re doing isn’t working, take a chance.
Make a small investment and commit.
In this case it’s buying my e-book – The Triathlete Nutrition Code:
The outlay is £9.99/12 USD ish.
Once you’ve read it and implemented it, you will get results, I promise.
You will do things and maybe even eat things you’ve not done, or eaten before.
And that is precisely why it works.
It unsettles you, it excites you and then you commit.
