We are all on a journey to better ourselves.
If you weren’t, you wouldn’t be one of the 15,000 triathletes who have downloaded my free E-book.
You acknowledge that you need to get better at something, improve your diet.
You know that this will make you a better triathlete, a leaner triathlete and maybe even a happier person.
Acknowledging the need for change is the first step to reaching you goal, however lofty.
What come next though is key – the action you take.
This is true whether it be diet, sport, business. etc, etc.
Once you’ve decided on the action, you need a constant reminder, something to make you remember how important your goal is to you, especially when temptation occurs.
So how do you do this?
The strategy I’m about to share is something I have done personally and with my clients, with great success.
It’s simple.
Write down you goals and make them visible, preferably the first thing you see each morning.
Read them out load before you start your day.
For me, I have a white board with personal goals and business goals which I keep in our bedroom – I see it as soon as I open my eyes.
It reminds me what I want and what’s important to me.
It has my goals on it and it also has my daily actions.
I know that if I do those things every day, relentlessly I will get closer to my goals.
For the aim of fat loss, I would simply set a long term target like – lose 10kg.
Then I would have weekly and monthly targets within that.
The actions would be things like:
Eat veg with every meal, even breakfast (not as hard as you think)!!
Eat protein with every meal
Etc
Alongside this, you need a diet plan which captures your imagination.
Which isn’t going to seem like a burden, like your missing out on tasty foods.
Unfortunately, most diets are so restrictive that they are unrealistic – we simply set ourselves up to fail.
This is why I wrote my E-Book – The Triathlete Nutrition Code:
It’s full of tasty foods and recipes for the whole family.
It has snacks which will fuel your training and make you a faster athlete.
It has shakes which you can have on the go, when there is no time for breakfast.
It tells you what supplements to take.
How different body shapes need to eat differently.
If you combine all of that info with the techniques I discussed above, you set yourself up to succeed.
The book is £9.99/12 USD ish.
It’s a small investment for some BIG results.
