Why some people can’t lose fat…..

Unknown-1I am not going to apologise for what I am about to write.

It will likely offend some of the 15,000 triathletes reading this email because…….

For a lot of you it will be true.

If you find yourself shaking your head and thinking thats not me – just take a moment to think, because it could be!

You see, the thing is that whilst lots of people want to achieve a goal, the simple fact is they will never.

For some it’s because they don’t know what they’re doing.

For others it’s because they don’t learn from their mistakes.

Simply they spend a life time jumping from idea to idea, from plan to plan and when it doesn’t work they blame that plan, or idea.

Frankly, its easier to do that, than blame yourself.

So…..

The reason why some people can’t lose fat is that they can’t commit.

They don’t stick to a plan 100%.

They are not patient enough – it doesn’t happen in a week.

They think they know best, despite them never achieving their goals.

They get advice and help and then still don’t stick to it.

Now, whilst this is a problem, their is a way to resolve it.

Firstly you need a plan you believe in – a proven one.

Then you need help sticking to it – on the days you lack patience or even belief.

You need to question the plan and then get the answer.

You need reassurance that it will work.

And that is why coaching works – whether it be to help you swim faster, or get leaner and healthier.

Someone who accepts that they need to improve and then with help, figures out how to.
