Do you know what low carb is?

I was at they gym this morning and I got chatting to a guy who was telling me he was on a diet.

Needed to lose about 1 stone apparently – who doesn’t?

Anyway he told me his plan was to cut out all carbs.

Nothing new there but get this and this is 100% genuine:

As he was telling me all this, he was eating a…………

Lasagne!

I really did NOT know what to say!

I’m going to assume that because you are an educated reader of these emails, you don’t need me to explain why that is a problem for a “low carber”.

The thing is though, there are various degrees of low carb.

I’m currently trialling a diet which uses carb undulation – meaning different amount, on different days.

On the low days they are really low – sub 50 grams

But on the high days, they are much higher, like 250g higher.

Different coaches will consider low carb to mean different things.

For me, I would suggest anything under 100g to be the beginnings of low carb.

That is assuming you’re interested, because to lose fat you do NOT need to go low carb.

You just need to follow a proven, whole foods diet, which sets calories appropriately and sets your macro nutrient ratio to your body type.

None of this is complicated.

It’s why I wrote my book – The Triathlete Nutrition Code:

E-Book

Inside it gives you the info you need to figure out how many calories you need.

And that is NOT just for a normal person but a triathlete – theres a big difference.

It also tells you how to figure out what ration of protein, carbs and fats are likely to work for your genetics.

And of course it has tasty recipes, which will mean you’re well on your way to fat loss without starving.

It’s £9.99/$12 ish.
