Im not going to insult you by figuring out the Maths here.
Imagine how much better you would feel though if you lost over half a stone of fat in the next month?
Not as self conscious in your tri suit.
More comfortable walking around in your swim suit.
Not worried about the bulges in the wetsuit.
Then there are the performance benefits:
A quicker run and faster up the hills on the bike.
As for the health benefits…….
We all know how losing fat makes us healthier and essentially prolongs our life.
My motivation for having low body fat levels have changed over the years.
When I was 19 – I wanted to be more attractive to the opposite sex.
At 25 – I was concerned with going as fast as I could.
Now at 39 – My main concern is health.
The others are still relevant but having kids makes me want to be around and healthy for a long time. I also want to set a good example to them about how to be fit, strong and healthy.
To do this, I need to look the part and be fitter and faster than the other Dad’s out there.
I don’t know where you are in your journey but from the 15,000 plus triathletes reading this I can bet at least half need to lose half a stone.
