Last week I felt absolutely recked.
I’d upped my training and I could tell – By Sunday I felt like I wanted to be pushed around in my daughters buggy – HEAVY LEGS!
If you’re training seriously you will be no stranger to this and sometimes it is necessary to go through it.
This week I feel fine as I’ve upped my calories a little.
You see, its very easy to get this wrong.
Literally 100 calories too few a day for a week and you can be left drained.
This obviously effects the quality of training and this will consequently effect any fat loss and performance goals you have.
The key then is to be able to eat as much as possible to fuel your training and still lose some fat.
This will take a little experimenting with calories, carbohydrate consumption and timing.
Sure, you may have the odd day or two where you feel tired but that is part of being an athlete.
I have certain formulas I use with my clients to help them figure this out.
I match the calories to your training plan and goals.
That will mean different calories on different days.
This may sound complicated but if you sync in with my fitness pal its easy.
As a wise man once said:
“You get out what you put in”
So, if you’re not prepared to do this you will NOT reach your true potential.
Sure you can still get results but if you are serious, like really serious this will help.
