Being known as a nutritionist you can imagine I get asked a lot of questions.
Of course, a lot are via email and social media but also from people I know face to face.
Over the weekend, I was at a party and the usual small talk ensued:
“What do you do?”
I was asked.
I hate this, mainly because when I answer I get the impression that people will instantly feel judged by me.
Like I am looking down at them as this unhealthy person, which of course I am NOT.
You may have the same, when mixing with non triathletes.
Anyway, on this occasion I was chatting to a woman who told me she has tried everything to lose weight (she was about 2 stone over weight).
She wanted my help there and then – What was she doing wrong?
Now this might surprise you……..
But I said I couldn’t help her – she would need to pay for any advice.
She seemed shocked.
Let me explain why this is important.
For any advice to work, there needs to be an investment.
That might be time, money or energy.
This lady was willing to invest none of the above.
She wanted help there and then for free which would solve her weight loss problems.
If I would have tried it wouldn’t have worked because the problem is much deeper.
This may be true for you as well.
This investment will mean you are accountable – you are spending more so you better do something about it.
Arguably the more money you spend, the greater the chance of your success.
This is one reason why I still work with clients one to one – their bigger investment leads to bigger results.
I do though acknowledge that not everyone can afford one to one support which is why I created my group coaching programme – The Total Triathlete:
Inside you get access to my private Facebook group.
You can then ask me anything you like relating to your diet.
Where you are going wrong.
What you are doing right.
Where a little tweek can make a BIG difference.
I’ll even match your diet to your training programme.
All for £10 a month (12 USD ish)
You can post as often as you like and I will get back to you personally every time.
