If you are anything like me you are busy.
Kids, work, friends, family, and training.
It’s not easy to fit it all in and if you’re not careful you can end up doing all of it but doing any of it very well.
How many people peak for their A race.
Or………
When you enter your A race, you usually have a time in mind – have you ever reached it.
Overwhelmingly people don’t.
This is, in my opinion, a symptom of being too busy.
If all you had to think about was training – you would be a better athlete – No doubt!
So whats the answer?
Being realistic for sure but your ambitious and that doesn’t always fit with realistic!
It’s about being organised and basically having a plan.
Yes, a training plan is good but what about everything else?
What about your recovery?
What about your nutrition?
Getting your nutrition right is key to your performance and recovery – No question!
Eating the right stuff at the right times.
Losing body fat.
Both will make you a better athlete and best still without needing more time.
Yes, you will have to prep some food but that is easy when you know how.
And whilst it’s not ideal, for some people buying their food on the go is the only option – But that can easily ruin a diet.
That’s why I set up my private coaching group – The Total Triathlete:
A chance for you to ask me any questions on your diet.
Things like:
I am going out for dinner tonight – here is the menu, what should I eat?
Or…..
I can’t prep my lunch every day but there are these options, which is best?
On sign up though, you also get a copy of my E-Book – The Triathlete Nutrition Code.
Inside you can find recipes which are easy to prep – in fact, it even tells you how to plan your week.
Getting all this right is a game changer and all for $13 a month or £10 to my UK readers.
That’s a no-brainer for the time it will save in extra training and the disappointments of not reaching your goals come race day.
