I imagine a fair few people are beginning to get a bit sick of this whole Christmas thing now.
Time to start making some BIG plans for 2018.
I hate new year for that but it is true that most of us, that we start the new year as if it is a fresh piece of paper.
As though, we have been forgiven all our sins and mistakes of the last 12 months and are free to realistically dream again.
It is a good feeling.
Before you think about this year though, let’s look back……
Do you remember what those dreams were last year?
You should do if they were serious.
Now, which ones did you achieve and which ones not?
Things, of course, may have changed since last year and you might have completely different goals now, but………
If not, why did you fail last year?
I’m a believer that we learn most from our failures if nothing else this puts an optimistic slant on disappointment.
Of the 16,000 plus Triathletes reading this, it would be a fair bet that some of you aimed to be:
– Leaner
– Faster
– Healthier
– Happier
– Probably get better at swimming!
So what has stopped you?
I don’t say that disapprovingly, but genuinely what has got in the way?
For so many of us, it is life, other commitments.
This is where a plan helps.
You don’t need to think, you just need to follow.
This is why I set up The Total Triathlete:
