I love this sort of pressure because I feel it ups our commitment to the cause.
Makes us train harder and smarter where necessary.
To eek out every last drop of our potential.
For some that might be a sub 10-hour Ironman and others a 2-hour sprint.
It doesn’t matter but what does matter is that we give it our best shot with the time and resources available to us.
Otherwise whats the point?
Sometimes it can feel like the clock is against us.
That we are only going to get slower as we age.
And if you want to keep going faster for longer you will need to get smarter.
Wherever you are in your journey getting your nutrition right will add speed and make the whole experience of training and racing more enjoyable.
