3 things you’re doing wrong

Unknown-1One of my issues with fat loss, is that people seem to think it is simple.

And in some respects they are correct but in our time and in our environment, they are wrong.

Remaining lean would in the past have been a disadvantage – less room for error if you like.

If your village had a bad winter and food was sparse, the leaner would have been more vulnerable.

The fat would have survived!!

I could go on about survival of the fittest now and how all of us alive today must have a bit of a fat person in us.

I definitely have,

Anyway……

If you can get a grip of the following things you will have a far greater chance of succeeding on your journey.

  • Remove temptation: We can’t do this from everywhere but my experience tells me that we can remove it from our  homes.  We can also carry food with us.  If we have good wholesome food with us, we are far less likely to buy rubbish.  “I haven’t got the time for that” I hear you say.  Well you mustn’t want it badly enough!
  • Be patient:  When I work with a new client some believe that through signing up they will instantly lose fat – They don’t.  We often go through a difficult stage where they may not have lost enough fat in the first week, they start to doubt the process.  Some give up here, most carry on and they succeed every time.
  • Don’t be unrealistic: We are surrounded by images and stories of success.  They make us feel like thats what we should be, or have but so often these stories or images don’t give us the full picture.  Airbrushing, drugs, eating disorders.  We may not get to their level but do we really want that?

Applying this three principles will 100% help you get what you want.

The final piece so often though, is quite simply doing it and sometimes that means some support.

The support is what stops you giving up.

It is a voice of reason.

Thats why I set up my private coaching group – The Total Triathlete:
