Nutrition first became my passion when I coudn't understand why I was overweight while everyone else seemed to be able to eat what they liked.
As with most people, in an attempt to lose fat, I starved myself and exercised more. It worked at first. I soon realised though that this just wasn't sustainable.
When I increased my triathlon training volume to twice a day but still didn't seem able to lose my fat, I realised there was much more I needed to understand about nutrition.
This led me on a journey of nutrition education and formal nutrition qualifications and ultimately working with hundreds of triathletes to help them improve their own nutrition.
I developed a triathlon nutrition coaching system which at heart understands you are a triathlete rather than a member of the public and hence you need to eat differently to fuel and recover for triathlon.
